Not a guy with a saw — a certified crew.
Tree work is genuinely dangerous, and the cheapest bid is often the riskiest. Here’s the credential stack and the standards behind every Heartwood job.
What every credential actually means.
ISA Certified Arborists
Every job is led by an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist — credentialed, code-of-ethics bound, and publicly verifiable. Some of our team also hold the Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ).
TCIA Accredited
Company-level accreditation from the Tree Care Industry Association — a third-party audit of our safety, training, and business practices that fewer than one in ten tree companies hold.
Licensed, Bonded & Insured
Oregon contractor license (OR CCB #214455), $2M general liability, and full workers’ comp. A certificate of insurance goes on file for your property on request.
ANSI A300 Pruning
All pruning follows ANSI A300, the national standard for tree care. Proper cuts, proper doses, proper laterals — and absolutely no topping, which the standard (and good practice) rejects.
ANSI Z133 Safety
Our crews work to ANSI Z133, the arboriculture safety standard — from electrical-hazard clearances to rigging, chainsaw, and aerial-work practices.
Crane & Bucket Safety
Crane-assisted removals follow OSHA and ASME B30.5 load-management practice with trained operators and qualified rigging crews. We use the right tool — climbing, bucket, or crane — for the cut.
The promises behind the credentials.
We Never Top Trees
Topping ruins a tree’s health and structure. We prune to ANSI A300 — proper cuts to proper laterals, every time.
Licensed, Bonded & Insured
$2M liability and full workers’ comp. We carry it, we prove it, and a certificate goes on file for your records.
Written Quote, No Surprises
A clear, fixed quote on-site before any climbing begins. The number we say is the number you pay.
We Leave It Cleaner
Chips hauled, lawn raked, drive blown clean. You shouldn’t be able to tell we were there — except the tree’s better.
24/7 Storm Response
Trees don’t fail on a schedule. A certified crew is on call any hour, with a metro response window under two hours.
A Certified Arborist On Every Job
Not a guy with a saw — an ISA Certified Arborist reads the tree, calls the cuts, and stands behind the work.
Heartwood Tree Co. is a licensed and insured tree care company (OR LCB Landscape Contractor License #9981 · CCB #214455); our arborists hold current ISA Certified Arborist credentials and we are TCIA accredited. License, certification, and registration numbers shown are illustrative for this template. Tree work is dangerous and should be performed by trained, insured professionals. Never approach a tree or limb in contact with a power line; keep clear and contact the utility and our 24/7 storm line.
